Every day, countless people experience a crisis in their life. A crisis can range from a natural disaster to an unplanned pregnancy to a job loss. Helping those who are in the most need can be a very rewarding experience. Volunteer today for one of the following agencies and make a difference for someone in need.

Habitat ReStore

The Habitat ReStore is a home improvement and donation center, generating income to expand the home building program of Habitat for Humanity. The ReStore serves a broader base of the community by providing low cost items, and diverts them from landfills which protect the environment. 2301 S. Main Street.

Volunteers are needed Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm.
Opportunities include stocking, organizing, donations, and merchandising.

Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity

Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with local organizations, businesses, and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building simple, decent homes in Las Cruces where people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Volunteers needs vary per locations and projects.
Opportunities include home construction (October – May); Administrative (year-long); Outreach (year-long).

United Way of Southwest New Mexico

he United Way of Southwest New Mexico works to provide the most effective venue for giving and effecting change in our community, consolidating our collective resources for a targeted approach to improve lives by focusing on supporting programs that address the very building blocks for a good life: Education, Income and Health.

Volunteers needs vary per event and one day volunteers are acceptable.
Volunteers are usually needed to help with set-up/tear-down of events. We have various events throughout the year so tasks will vary depending on the event. Volunteers are usually fed depending on how long we ask them to be available. Volunteers are given a Live United T-Shirt and other United Way ‘swag’.
